TRUSTEES REQUIRED

Dunfermline Heritage Trust aims to further the education of the public in the history and heritage of Dunfermline and of Scotland, and maintain Abbot House as a heritage centre. The Trust is undergoing significant change both in its presentation of heritage and the way in which it is governed.

The Board is seeking to strengthen its expertise by appointing new trustees, with a background in history/heritage; education; human resources and fundraising. They will work closely with the existing trustees, curatorial and management staff and assist with the development of appropriate policies and procedures.

Ideally, applicants should have some experience of charities and be willing to commit time to the trust’s development. The posts are voluntary and non-remunerated.
