Old Dunfermline Remembered DVD

Following on from the huge success of the ‘Old Dunfermline’ DVD that Dunfermline Heritage Trust produced last year, a completely new selection of images have been put together that will take people on another nostalgic trip back in time.

The selection of images featured include poignant scenes of soldiers relaxing on Masterton Farm, a military parade up Dunfermline High Street and some German prisoners of war. The ironmongers Coull and Mathew, Watt and Dewar and Souness are featured, as is Maloco’s cafe now long gone from Dunfermline. Broomhead flats and Trondheim Parkway are also pictured shortly after they were built with their new tenants looking delighted with the accommodation that replaced the substandard housing they were leaving.
