A Tale of Two Cities Exhibition

2008 marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of Pittsburgh and Dunfermline Heritage Trust is proud to announce that it will be hosting an exhibition on the roles that two prominent Dunfermline people, General John Forbes and Andrew Carnegie, had in the founding and subsequent development of the city. Trust Director, Dr Fiona Watson, widely recognised as one of the foremost authorities on Scottish history, in particular Robert the Bruce, is leading the Exhibition project and the results of the research being conducted will be on show in Abbot House this summer.
