Accessibility Statement
This site has been designed to be accessible for people with any degree of visual impairment and users of screen readers.
Standards Compliance
Where possible, all pages within this site comply with the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Priority 1 Guidelines. Many Priority 2 and 3 guidelines have also been followed in the creation of this web site.
Navigation
For those using screen readers, pages on this site contain a 'skip to content' link which skips the navigation straight to the content of a page.
We endeavour to write link which make sense out of context - that is, reading the phrase of the link by itself is enough to understand where it takes you.
All links open in the same browser window, with the exception of file download links (Microsoft Word documents).
This site has been tested and is accessible through many major browsers.
All text on this site is set to relative sizing units, so that it can be sized up or down using the appropriate tool in your browser. Please refer to your browser's help function or documentation if you are unsure of how to do this.
All content images and links include descriptive ALT attributes
Access keys
Some websites provide the user with additional navigation functions via the keyboard called access keys. Implementing access keys, may create a conflict for users who want to input extended characters. As a result, until this function has a recognised global standard we will not support access keys.
